Boiled Egg & Soldiers

Boiled egg & soldiers – A classic breakfast that kids will love.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of granary bread/ brown bread
  • Salt & pepper
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Fill a saucepan with water and bring to the boil.
  2. Place the eggs into the water gently and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove and cut off the top.
  4. Toast the bread and butter it. Cut in half and then cut toast into strips.
  5. Season the egg with a bit of salt and pepper and serve, with soldiers on the side.
