Ingredients
100g good quality dark chocolate, finely grated
4-6 tbsp icing sugar, sifted
3 tbsp hot chocolate mix
3 tbsp cocoa, sifted
2 tbsp powdered custard mix, sifted
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a jar. Secure the lid and give the jar a good shake to mix everything well.
To make hot chocolate, use 2½ heaped tbsp hot chocolate mix for every 250ml milk.
Simply combine hot chocolate mix with milk in a saucepan and give a quick whisk to combine. Cook over medium heat until hot chocolate is steaming and has thickened, stirring constantly.
Serve immediately topped with marshmallows or a dollop of whipped cream.
Mix is enough for 1.5l milk, or 6 mugs of deliciousness. Will keep indefinitely in a tightly sealed jar in a cool place.
