Mashed Potato

Our ultimate mash, revealed.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1kg Maris Pipers potatoes or any flour potatoes suitable for mashing
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and halve all the potatoes. Boil in water and salt on a medium heat for 20 minutes until tender.
  2. Strain the water and leave the potatoes to sit in their own steam for five minutes.
  3. Add butter and cream and mash. Season with salt and pepper and serve!
  4. Tip: Use a metal potato masher or use a fork and whip the potatoes it removes any lumps
